One-on-One Nutritional Counseling
Family & Support Person Nutrition Counseling
Guidance for parents, caregivers, partners, and loved ones who want to better support recovery.
While healing from an eating disorder or disordered eating is an individual journey, having support along the way can often make recovery feel less overwhelming. These sessions are designed to guide parents, caregivers, partners, or other support persons in how to best encourage recovery and reduce stress around food at home.
What sessions may include:
Education on eating disorders and recovery-focused nutrition
Guidance on how to support meal times and reduce food conflict
Tools for navigating diet talk, body image concerns, or food rules at home
Strategies for parents, caregivers, or partners to encourage supportive routines
Coordination with therapists, physicians, and the treatment team to provide consistent support
Educational talks and workshops for schools, organizations, and community groups.
I’m passionate about bringing awareness and education to communities around eating disorders, disordered eating, body image, and mental health. Over the years, I’ve spoken to a wide variety of audiences—from professional organizations to schools across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
My talks and workshops are tailored to the audience, whether that’s:
Parents and students learning how to navigate food and body image in a diet-focused world
Faculty and school staff gaining tools to support students’ well-being
Healthcare professionals deepening their understanding of eating disorder recovery and treatment approaches
Community groups and organizations raising awareness and reducing stigma
I’ve presented for respected organizations including the DFW International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), Dallas Dietetic Alliance (DDA), and the National Alliance for Mental Health & Substance Abuse Recovery, as well as through numerous community webinars.
